    "… Mary Judson, daughter of Isaac Judson and Mary Hicks, born 10 October 1679 in Stratford (Barbour citing LR 1-63); and died 6 March [January] 1742/43 at age 64 years according to her gravestone in Stratford Cemetery (Hale 475). …

    Mary Wells left a will on 20 March 1739/40 in Stratford, Connecticut, which names her children David Wells, Isaac Wells, John Wells, William Wells, Mary Judson, Elizabeth Curtiss, Sarah Edward, Phebe Uffoot, Hannah Goreham, and Charitee Wells; appoints son Isaac Wells as executor; witnessed by Ephraim Curtiss, James Dunlap, and Peter Foot; and signed by a mark. Her will was proved 1 February 1742/43. On 23 February 1742/43 an inventory was taken by Daniel Porter and James Beach totalling £514:06:08, with debts valued at £18:01:03, leaving £436:05:05 for distribution. Items totaling £70:10:00 were later submitted by the two appraisors. No distribution is found in the estate papers (Fairfield Probate District, Connecticut Estate Files, docket no. 6756)."
