Research by Sharon Corcoran Potts Polly died in Jefferson Twp Sept. 21, 1878, aged 69 years, 1 month and 26 days. She was born in Morris County, N.J. on July 25, 1809 and moved with her parents, David and Prudence Jackson, to the state of Ohio in 1814 and settled in Knox County, where she was married to John Potts on Nov. 20, 1828. She moved to Indiana in 1841 and settled on the farm where she died. She raised a large family. Funeral was at Jefferson Union Church. > 9-26-1878 ^ 9-26-1878
