OBITUARY. Auckland Star, Volume LVII, Issue 53, 4 March 1926, Page 9 MRS. M. A. LEVESQUE. A highly esteemed resident of Birkdale, Mrs. Mary Ann Levesque, died at her residence, Salisbury Road, yesterday, at the advanced age of 85 years. Deceased was born in Hampshire, England. For some years she lived at Jersey and was married to Mr. James Stanley Levesque. They arrived at Tasmania in 1884, and from there went to Australia, where they remained for 15 years. Coming across to Auckland, Mr. and Mrs. Levesque lived at Birkdale for a while, and afterwards at Cambridge. About three years ago they returned to Birkdale to reside. Deceased is survived by her husband, and the following children: Messrs J. D., and C. F. Levesque, of Auckland. J. H. Levesque, of Whangarei, J. and R. P. Levesque of Cambridge. Mesdames Corner of Sydney, Spargo of Henderson, and Bolton of Cambridge. The funeral will leave the residence at Birkdale for Birkenhead Cemetery at 1 p.m. Friday.
