Levesque's residence, Birkdale, for the convenience of the settlers. Since the strawberry season commenced it has been in great request, and should be a boon to the district generally. The Birkdale Fruitgrowers' Association were the means of getting the telephone service, and every credit is due to that body for the enterprising way they are studying the general welfare of the district."
