Facts and Events
Her identification as a child of William Garrison and Mary Catherine Miller is not certain and is currently based on:
- Her surname as a Garrison combined with her known location of residence (Fredericksburgh) at a time of settlement when the area had a limited population.
- She did not submit a land claim petition as the daughter of a Loyalist (despite the fact the family clearly needed land and attempted to obtain it through her husband's claim). William Garrison and his Miller wife did not make the cut-off to be considered Loyalists but the other known Garrison family in the area, Marvel Garrison, did.
