Mary Ann McIntosh died 1886. John Sawyers (b. abt 1801 Portsmouth, Hamps., d. 1870) (E. Burnett). In 1871 Mary Sawyers (1801 Crieff, formerly house keeper), and (b. Glasgow) daughter Mary Ann (1839, dressmaker), and Williamson family, daughter Margaret (1835 dressmaker), grandchildren “Mary” D. (1861, grandson), John S. (1863), Andrew (1866), William S. (1868) and boarder Fabian Bar Scott (1846, Cuba, clerk labal merchts) (census). The boarder was brother of spouse of Eliza Sawyers. In 1881 Mary Sawyers, head annuitant, widow (b. 1802 Crieff), daughter Mary A. Sawyers, housekeeper, unm. (b. 1840 Greenock) and the Williamson family as boarders, all born in Glasgow, Margaret, housekeeper, widow (1835), Mary D., civil engineers assistant, unm. (1861), John S., shipping clerk (1862), Andrew, metal brokers clerk (1866) and William S. (1868) lived at 17 Kelvinhaugh St., Barony parish (census). In 1881 Miss Sawyers, 17 Kelvinhaugh St. (Glasgow PO Directory); probably Marianne Sawyers was referred to.
