Dauphin Co. Pa. Mortgage Book I Indentured 17 May 1795 between Isabel Sloan, Robert Kirkwood and Sarah his wife George Sloan and Rosannah Sloan all of West Hanover Township of the one part and William Willson of the same place. Proprietaries by patent dated 28 January 1743 confirmed to William Hime a tract of land ad adjoining William Watson, James Clark, James Greenlee, John Watson containing 163 acres. William Hume and Frances his wife by indenture 22 January 1744 confirmed to Samuel Blunston the aforesaid tract of Land. Samuel Blunston died 29 September 1745 without wife or issue and the estate descended to two nieces viz., Sarah the wife of Peter Worall and Hannah wife of Thomas Pearson. The aforesaid heirs conveyed to John Craig 11 April 1749 and the said John Craig died intestate leaving issue Sarah Craig intermarried with David Allan, Mary Craig intermarried with Archibald Sloan (father of the said Isabel, Sarah, George and Rosannah Sloan) John Craig and Isabel Craig. Letters in the estate of John Craig were issued 1 October 1757 and David Allan was appointed Administrator and sold the land 22 September 1760 to Brice Innis (deed recorded in Lancaster) Brice Innis and wife 16 May 1761 confirmed the land to John Craig. John Craig and Sibby his wife conveyed to William Willson. Now Isabel Sloan, Sarah Sloan intermarried with Robert Kirkwood George Sloan and Rosannah Sloan in consideration of fifty pounds each paid by William Alexander and James Ross Executors of the last will and testament if Sarah Allan deceased late of Carlisle county of Cumberland, convey to William Wilson. p255
