- Much of the date on this page appears wrong and when faced with facts that can't be found (namely the death date) one suspects those facts are equally bogus and hence misleading.
1. The name in the census is consistently Mary H. Clark, so the posted middle name of Thomas appears explicitly incorrect.
2. For Mary H. Clark, a birth is found 9 Feb 1807, not 1809 (Franklin, Norfolk, MA, VRs, p. 26, daughter Dyer Clark Jr. and Nancy Day). It is almost certain this is the person intended since the census record also seem to align with 1807 better than 1809.
3. No death record is found. The widow appears to be living in Medway in 1880 (line 44) so the posted location in Worcester, MA would suggest the death date here may belong to the wrong person?
4. Originally no marriage date was given and a note suggesting 3 children. Given the actual marriage in 1846 and age of husband, it is unlikely there were any children. None have been found, and the note may well be confusion with the son, also named Silas, and his wife Nancy who had several children in the time frame of this marriage. This note was erased.
The data suggests poor research and great confusion.
