Much data on Mary supplied April 1998 from Janet Hubbard via email (jhubbard@portgualala.com) who said that she had added data on this family. Marriage certificate in my file shows both people from Mercer County, IL. , their marriage at Keithsburg, IL.

Richard Praetor data received via Deidre Cox. Jan 1999 says that Mary was baptised at Blanchard Tsp., Hancock Co., OH Methodist Church when very young and her marriage produced nine children, two of whom died in infancy. He said that William (son?) died in Johnson Co., MO feb 23, 1888 at age 21. "The following live to mourn her departure: her husband, father, Thomas Edward, Harvy Harrison, Frank Shird, and Mrs. Emma Florence Eaton, all of Linwood, KS. Mrs. Hattie Swella Ward of Kansas City, Mrs. Clara Adeline Green of Loring, KS, also four sisters Mrs. Levina Eperly of Joy, IL., Mrs. Emeline Emmons of Seaton, IL, Mrs. Eliza Pearson of Olive, OK, Mrs. Katherine Brown of Warrensburg, MO, and two brothers, Harrison Braucht of Holden, MO and John Braucht of Davenport, IA; also 35 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. Her death came quietly at 8:30 at the home Feb. 11, 1919, aged 76yrs. 6mo. and 10 ds. After their marriage Mr. and Mrs. Hubbard lived in Mercer Co., IL moving to Johnson Co., MO in 1868. Residing there for 32 yrs. they moved in 1900 to the present home West of Bonner Springs, KS. Married 55yrs, Rev. I.C. Paugh officiated the funeral with burial at the city cemetery. Paulbearers were grandsons Alfred Green, George Green, Roy Green, Charles Hubbard, Samuel Hubbard, and Willard Hubbard."

Ilene Tracy data shows her death as Bonner Springs, KS. One report stated that on the death certificate for her son, Harvey Harrison Hubbard, the informant, Elsie Irene Hubbard, gave her surname spelling as Braught; and that on her death certificate the informant, Harvey H. Hubbard, stated that her name was Mary Ann, whose mother was born in OH. See photo of Mary and husband James Hubbard, plus photos of their children Adeline, Frank, Florence, and Hattie (abt. 1928) plus color photocopy of Mary and James' marriage certificate, found on pgs 273-74 of "Are you Related to George Hubbard of Guilford, Conn; A family history in progress" by Janet Kay Hubbard.
