For extensive additional data on Hubbard family, consult Janet Hubbard via email jhubbard@portgualala.com. Also, she sent to me her Hubbard book of June 2000. See Bonner Springs, KS Chieftain newspaper obituary of 2 April 1925 giving considerable data confirmations. That obituary mentioned nine children: William, Thomas, Edward, Harvey Harison [sic?], Frank Shird, Mrs. Hattie Swella Ward of Hickman Mills, MO, Mrs. Clara Adeline Green of Lebo, KS, and two infant death children. He had three sisters: Mrs. Adeline Robinson, Mrs. Agnes Riggs all of IL and brother Thomas Edward Hubbard of Iowa. The services were conducted by M.E. minister Jenkins. This obiturary gives his death as Friday March 26, but March 26 was a Thursday and the death certificate states death was Friday March 27. He died peacefully of chronic nephritis and stomach ulcer (these don't sound very peaceful to me) at the home of Frank S. Hubbard, according to the obituary. The marriage certificate reproduction sent to me by Janet Hubbard shows Willard Braucht and Mary Ann Braucht married 17 Sep 1864 at Keithsburg (Mercer Co., IL).
