Mary, daug of Benjamin and Mary (Smith) Andrews baptized 25 Aug 1688, living in 1743 when she and her eldest son were received into the church in Canaan, CT; married 26 Feb 1712/13, as his second wife to Nathaniel COWLES [born 11 Feb 1672/3 died at Southington (before 22 Nov) 1729] "The Andrews Families of Western Connecticut" by Donald Lines Jacobus, TAG, vol 35, 1958, pg 83-91 Mary (Andrews) Cowles' eldest son, was a legatee in the will of her father Benjamin Andrews dated 1723/4 Alfred Andrews, "Genealogical History of John and Mary Andrews, who settled in Farmington, Conn., 1640: embracing their descendants to 1872; with an introduction of miscellaneous name of Andrews, with their progenitors as far as known; to which is added a list of some of the authors, clergymen, physicians, and soldiers of the name."
