[Note: Brookfield VRs show three Mary Adams, two born 1744 and the third in 1757. The names of the children of Erastus and Mary make it clear she is the daughter of Abraham and Mary as multiple names come from that family, including Abraham, Susanna, Obadiah and Jesse. They also do not use the parent names of the other candidates, namely Benjamin and Persis, and John (and Mary, but in this case, obviously, use of Mary does not imply anything). What children can be found for the other couples offer no further clues.]
