Will of Martin Shearman of the parish of Christ Church in Lancaster Co VA was dated 15 December 1769, was probated 20 June 1771 and was recorded 19 September 1771

The will names wife Ann; sons Rawleigh, Martin, Joseph ("my plantation") and Thomas Shearman; daughters Mary Tapscott, Ann Christian, Sarah Haynes [sic - Haynie?], Elizabeth Shearman and Alice Shearman.

Executors were named as the testator's wife, his friend Colonel James Ball and his friend Mr. Richard Mitchell.
