Martha Jane Pollard Harris, 57, of Kansas City, Kan., formerly of Osceola, died Sunday, Oct. 28, 2001. She was born Oct. 5, 1944, in Wilson and was an Osceola High School graduate. She was of the Baptist faith. She is survived by a son, three daughters, her mother, Helen Pollard of Pauls Valley, Okla.; eight brothers, two sisters, five grandchildren and a great-grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her father, Sidney Pollard, a brother, Jimmy Pollard, and a sister, Janet Smith.

The funeral was held at 2 p.m. Thursday, Nov 1, 2001, at Roller-Swift Funeral Home in Osceola with Rev. Dale Walker officiating. Burial was in Mississippi County Memorial Gardens in Osceola.
