In Providence, R. I., Mar. 24, 1892, of apoplexy, Mrs. Martha B. Hiscox, relic of the late Arnold Hiscox, Jr., in the 79th year of her age.
Mrs. Hiscox was born in Charlestown, R. I., Dec. 23, 1817, where she lived till recently. In youth she was converted and joined the Six Principle Baptist Church at Wood River, but was always an observer of the Sabbath. She was married in 1852 [sic] and had three children, two of whom survive her, Mrs. Isaac Burdick, of Westerly, and Mrs. C. H. Morse, of Providence. Funeral services were held from the residence of her son-in-law, Mr. Isaac Burdick, Westerly, R. I., March 27, 1892. Interment in the First Hopkinton cemetery. W. C. D.
