Had three sons and two daughters by this marriage: James, Wyatt, and Zechariah; Allena and Bossie Ellen. Married Susan Gillenwaters and had two sons and three daughters: Tuncil and Marshall; Roxie and Laura. He married twice more, but had no children by either marriage; Abigail Jones and Elizabeth Griffith. Marshall was drafted late in the Civil War. He served from 27 Feb. 1865 until 1st Jun 1865 in Company G 7th Regiment, West Virginia Infantry.
