  4. GALESBURG - Margaret E. Erickson, 83, of 1142 Windcrest Acres died at 4:36 p.m. Sunday, March 21, 2004, at her home.
    Born Dec. 1, 1920, in Weslaco, Texas, to Cecil and Josephine Bradenburg Spangler, she married Frederick K. Erickson on Aug. 25, 1940, in Galesburg. He died Dec. 29, 2002. She also was preceded in death by one granddaughter.
    Surviving are one son, Lee of Church Hill, Tenn.; three daughters, Elaine (and Larry) Karch of Heyworth, and Susie Richardson and Carol Erickson, both of Galesburg; two sisters, Mary Stephens of Lake Havasu City, Ariz., and Ginger McClellan of Costa Mesa, Calif.; 14 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
    She worked at Admiral during World War II. She later was a seamstress for Sterron Fields and Bergner's.
    She was a member of the former Dandelions and the Parent Teacher Association.
    She attended First Presbyterian Church and Seventh-day Adventist Church, both in Galesburg.
    Services will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at Hinchliff-Pearson-West Galesburg Chapel, where visitation will be one hour before. The Rev. Birger Draget will officiate. Burial will be in East Linwood Cemetery.
    Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association or to any charity.
