    Margaret Bonnett, daughter of Samuel and Mary Elizabeth Lorentz Bonnett, born 1759 and killed by Indians led by Chief Tecumseh May 7 1792 near present day Jane Lew, Lewis County, West Virginia. She married John Waggoner in 1778 in Hampshire County, (West) Virginia.

    John Michael and Margaret Bonnett Waggoner were the parents of seven children: three unnamed males, Margaret, a daughter with only three who survived the massacre, were captured and taken to Detroit. It was Peterman Hardman, John Hardman, husband of Elizabeth and Catherine Hardman, wife of Peter, who came to the assistance of Mr. Waggoner during the raid.     Elizabeth b Nov 5 1779 married John Dexter Hardman, a Methodist minister and brother of Catherine Hardman.
    Mary b Dec 9 1780 and married Jacob Wolf Jr,
    Peter b Mar 13 1787, remained with the Indians and married first an Indian girl and was later tricked into marrying Catherine Hardman.
