From the Louisiana Genealogical Register, September 1971. The Register is the quarterly publication of the Louisiana Genealogical and Historical Society. The LaGenWeb Archives thanks them for contributing this information. Originally submitted to the Register by: Mrs. James M. Sagely, Clinton, La. This cemetery referred to as Carter Cemetery. There were signs of several other graves there but we found only one stone. Go to St. Helena Church, turn on gravel road near church, go to end of road, then you must walk about one half mile on trail to cemetery. On your left at top of high hill. MALITTA A., wife of PETER QUIN, d. May 28, 1860, aged 39 years, 2 months, 13 days
