Malcolm, who had been raised in the Presbyterian faith, converted to Catholicism, being baptized in Sacred Heart Church, Paris, 21 Nov. 1884. Ann McDonald, sister of Mary, was a sponsor at Malcom's baptism. Malcolm died of Brights Disease. The death certificate lists Thomas Donahue as being the person who gave the details of Malcolm's death to the Town Offices.
