    BIESHEUVEL, Maggie, age 78 of 205 South B.C. Ave., Lynden, was born on June 6, 1903, and died in a Bellingham Hospital on January 1, 1982. Maggie and her husband, Dick, were married in Lynden on October 1, 1925. They were life time residents of Whatcom County and members of the First Christian Reformed Church. She is preceded in death by her husband, Dick, who passed away on January 8, 1955. She is survived by 3 daughters, Mrs. Harriet (Jake) Vreugdenhil; Mrs. Ruth (Rod) Likkel; both of Lynden, and Mrs. Margie (Doede) Postma, of Sumas. A son, Mr. Rich (Ada) Biesheuvel of Lynden; 2 sisters, Mrs. Betty (Simon) Stremler, and Mrs. Ann Heusinkveld, both of Lynden; 2 brothers, Mr. Arthur Oordt and Mr. Andrew Oordt, all of Lynden; 14 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services were held on Tuesday, January 5 in the First Christian Reformed Church with the Rev. Arie Leegwater officiating. Burial followed in Monumenta Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Lynden Christian Rest Home or the Christian Schools of Lynden. Arrangements under the Direction of Gillies Funeral Home.
