Facts and Events
From OBR: Lyman Lewis Jackson left home at age 17, going south and accepting any kind of employment he was able to obtain that would make him an honest living, for he was an honest and upright citizen. He had a hard struggle until he was able to secure some Red River land when he was better able to provide for his family. He enjoyed reading, was witty, had an excellent memory, a ninth grade education, was a Christian that practiced it in his daily life. He always taught his children to live good clean Christian lives, for which I am thankful. I took care of both my father and mother during their late years and cared for them in their illness until the end. Father was a member of the Nazerenes. By Lottie Pearl Jackson Williford References
