[Stamps-Sites_TFS.FTW] Obituary Mrs. Bishop Dead Mrs. Lula Vance Bishop, wife of James T. Bishop, died at midnight last Wednesday, after a long illness of consumption. At the time of her death she was ____ at Keplar, Warren county. She was the second daughter of the late Rev. James Vance, and was a woman of more than ordinary attainments. she possessed a naturally brilliant mind and was gifted in many accomplishments. Mrs. Bishop taught school in Barren County several years, and was at one time a student of Liberty College when Professor Bruce was president. She is survived by a husband and one beautiful little daughter, Hazel Elizabeth, not yet four years old. Mrs. Bishop was about 30 years old and a devoted member of the Methodist church. The one great desire of her life was to live to raise her little daughter, as she herself was early deprived of a mother's care, and knew the hardships of an orphan. She was a sister of Mrs. J. D. Woodson, of Peter's creek. A good woman is gone. Her remains were interened in the Hays cemetery Friday morning. Lula Bishop died at 12:30 o'clock. Hazel Bishop's bible, which may have belonged to her parents. The bible is from 1898. "The Teacher's Bible" References
