[edit] OriginsAt least one researcher indicates that Luke was baptized 18 Oct 1615 in the church of St. Peter and Saint Paul in Newport, Pagnell, Buckhinghamshire, son of Jeffrey Potter and Agnes Beard. Son Judah sole executor. History of Concord by Shattuck (p. 381) recognized that Luke had two wives but confuses the picture by saying he m.
