Served in the Revolutionary War at the age of 15 (1777) NJ Line S21961 Fought in the Battle of Monmouth Courthouse in 1778, continued to reenlist til 1780

Lived in Southampton, Bucks Cty, Pa for 40 years after war ended. When his wife died, he moved to Luzerne Co, PA with his youngest son, John Pitner Search. Then he moved with John to Racine Wisconsin, where he died .

There is a plaque on his grave to commemorate his service in the Revolution. [Search family.two.FTW]
