2. Graduated with honors from the Gem City Business College, March 1890.

3. "Soon after graduation he was attacked with the hopeless malady" (diabetes) which led to his death 2 1/2 years later. (His nephew, Allen, also suffered from diabetes all his adult life.) ". . . he bore his afflictions with patience, until the end." 4. By August,1893, he had gone to Weber, Montana, for the "good climate".
