The Daily Times-News on Wednesday, October 14, 1970(Burlington, North Carolina) Mrs.. Lorah I. Kivett Mrs. Lorah ISLEY Kivett, 76. of 201 Piedmont Way, died this morning at ? o'clock after three years of failing health. A native of Alamance County, she was the widow of Tom H Kivett, and was the daughter of the late George (sic: should be Joel) S. and Jenny Murray ISLEY She was a retired housekeeper of Alamance General Hospital, and was a member of Macedonia Lutheran Church and was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star. She is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Edna Murray, Mrs.. Mary Quails and Mrs.. Ann Crane, all of Burlington; two sisters, Mrs.. O.H. Ross of Rt. 4, Burlington, and Miss Nellie ISLEY of Myrtle Beach, S.C; one brother, Michael McKinley (Mike) ISLEY of Burlington, and seven grandchildren and one great-grandchild Final rites will be conducted Thursday afternoon at 2 o'clock at Macedonia Lutheran Church by the Rev. Hoyle Whiteside, pastor, assisted by the Rev. Earl K. Bodie, assistant pastor Burial will follow in Pine Hill Cemetery.
