        I saw your query from 1997 concerning the Lewis LeMaster who married Sarah Henderson.  He was my husband's great grandfather.  Sarah was his 4th wife. The first three he had married in Ironton, Ohio.  Their names were Sarah

Brown, Levina A. Neal and Amanda Brown. I don't know anything about any of them. I wonder if Sarah and Amanda were sisters. I gather you are from the Henderson line. I can help you somewhat with Lewis' family, but I don't know all their names, nor which wife they were by. Some I know, because of the birth dates and the dates of the weddings, but I don't have birth dates for many of them.

My husband's grandfather was his son, John, whose mother was Sarah Brown. I found them on the 1880 Census of Lawrence County, Ohio. I heard Lewis died by being hit by a train--don't know. Is Sarah also buried in the Walnut Grove Cemetery? That cemetery is just outside of Olive Hill, Kentucky.

I have been looking for Lewis's father. I found the family in 1860 in Lawrence County, KY. It stated his parents were born in Kentucky and all the kids, except the one who, at the time, was about a year old, had been born in Kentucky. I cannot locate them on the 1850 Kentucky census. Maybe someday--we don't appreciate anything if it comes too easy, do we? If I can help you in some way, let me know. I don't know a lot, but I'll be glad to share what I have. I found something on Sarah Henderson from some info a cyber friend sent. Do you have a marriage date for them. Who had she been married to prior to Lewis?

Which you can see is not much. I have been trying to find info on the descendants of Lewis and Sarah. I keep my entire tree posted at http://members.nbci.com/warnertree/surnames.htm for everyone to look through. If you have anything to add send it my way in the form of a gedcom if possible but will take it any way you wish to send it.
