1878 - After marriage - Harrisville, Harrison Co., Ohio, USA. This was the house built by Nathan Hall when he came from North Carolina and described by Deborah (3061). There was spring house which served to keep the food cool in the summer months. A large barn was joined to the house by a high stone wall close to which was built a storage crib.
24 May 1927 - (Short Creek) granted certificate to Pasadena MM, California, USA.
MISCELLANEOUS_NOTES:
Lewis owned a team of grey driving horses which pulled a nice surry.
CONFLICT:
On page 213 of The Encyclopaedia of American Quaker Genealogy on a closely succeeding line the given name is rendered as Louis, all other detail being the same.
