Lincoln, Levi 76 M - Conn. August Occupation: None
[Note: from this document: "1850 Mortality Census year begins June 1, 1849 and ends May 31, 1850", which means a death listed in August would mean August 1849, not August 1850. Yet Levi Lincoln is listed in the 1850 census enumerated 4 Oct 1850. This Vermont mortality record is a transcription, and for some reason Vermont mortality schedules are not found in any of the usual places. If one assumes the transcriber has correctly interpreted the document, this means there are three Levi Lincolns born Conn. abt 1774 listed in the 1850 census: one died Chelsea Vermont Aug 1749 (and age 76 would mean born 1773), one died New York June 1749, and finally, one living in Chelsea Vermont in Oct 1850. There is no death record or gravestone found for Levi Lincoln in Vermont, either in 1849, 1850 or any year through 1870. So which one is this Levi?]
