His son Levi, was left one dollar, and the remainder of his lands were to be equally divided among the other children, namely Silas, William, Abigail, Martha, Susannah, and Lydia.    Before the summer was over, he passed away, probably the middle of August 1799, for a bond for $200 was posted by Abigail Bronson and John Campbell on August 28, 1799, to Daniel Leavitt, Judge of Probates." (Pikoski, p. 3-4)
