"The Salem Democrat April 2, 1879, Pioneer Pickings Number 182 - quoting from the Western Annotator, published in Salem on July 19, 1833"

Francis Hagan, corner of Cherry and Mill streets, lot 171, the present residence of Dr. John R. Bare, DePauw's Addition. His child [daughter E.S.] died at the same place.
