Some charts show Lavina's date of death as 4 Feb 1894 taken from a record at ancestry which does not give enough information to verify that this is the correct Lavina. I have found this record: http://search.ancestry.com/cgi-bin/sse.dll?db=MOdeaths&h=7073467&indiv=try&o_vc=Record:OtherRecord&rhSource=5696 which clearly shows the Lavina who died on 4 Feb 1894 was a 21 year old black person. Clearly not Lavina Lowe Jackson.
