"Laura did come from Germany. She thinks it was Leipzig Germany were her mother had a dress shop. She came to the states when she was 12 years old and lived on Wheeling St. in South Baltimore for awhile. She was here with her older brother Otto and her mother. Not much is know about her father at this time. Trouble in Germany may have caused them to leave sometime 1898 and 1899." Per Bill Blanchard IV and his sister Dot, 1/29/08.
