Kent Hendricks, 77 of 622 Price Avenue, died 8:50 p.m. Thursday in Regional Medical Center.

He was born in Muhlenberg County, Jan. 18, 1905, the son of the late Nathaniel L. Hendricks and Luticia Berry Hendricksl

He was a member of the Lone Star Pentecostal Church, the WOW Eureka Camp, no. 25, and a retired coal miner working at Badgett Mines for 22 years.

Survivors include his wife, Mrs Fairy Forbes, Hendricks; Four daughters, Mrs. Earlene (Betty) Wagner, Sacramento, Mrs. Earl (Doris) Marks 2016 Marty Drive, Mrs David (Lou) Adams and Mrs Douglas (Shirley) Vandiver, bot of Route 3, Madisonville; two sons, Bobby Hendricks, Randall Drive, and David Hendricks, 622 Price Avenue; one sister Nannie Hendricks, Mount Vernon, Ind.,; one brother, Shellie Hendricks, New Albany, Ind.; 16 grandchildren; and five great grandchildren.

Services will be held 1:30 p.m. Sunday at the Lone Star Pentecostal Church, with Rev. Richard Sisk, officiating. Burial will be in Briar Creek Cemetery.

Friends may call at the Barnett-Strother Funeral Home from 12 to 9 p.m. Saturday and from 8 to 12 noon Sunday.

The body will lie in state at the Church form 1 p.m. unil the funeral.
