Hassig, Kathryn, "Kay" age 95, of Grand Rapids, MN, formerly of New Hope and Crystal, died peacefully on December 3, 2007 at Grand Village and Lodge in Grand Rapids. Kathryn was a member and former president of the Westphal American Legion Auxiliary in Robbinsdale. Preceding her in death was her husband, Frank. Survived by her daughters and son, Jan (Cordell) Bennett of Grand Rapids, MN, Robert (Beth) Costello of Chesterfield, MO, Susan Hassig of New Orleans, LA; eight grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren. Visitation will be Friday, December 7th from 1:00 P.M. until the 2:00 P.M. Mass of Christian Burial at St. Alphonsus Catholic Church, 70th and Halifax, Brooklyn Center, MN. Burial will be in Gethsemane Cemetery in New Hope, MN. Arrangements by Rowe Funeral Home of Grand Rapids, MN (218) 326-6505
