Obituary: Pallbearers were James Gaustad, Peter Gaustad Jr., Clarence Lyson, Martin Husfeldt, Don gaustad, Lee Gaustad. Julius Gaustad died Feb 9 at Tri-county Hospital in Wadena, Mn. He was born Dec 27, 1899 in Folden Township, the son of Ole and Gertrude (Skjegstad) Gaustad. He attended country school in Folden. He worked for his brother Albin in Jamestown, ND and served in armed services during World War II. He worked several years as a farm hand in Montana and retired in Henning. In April of 1977 he entered the Henning Nursing Home. He was a member of the American Legion. survivors include his twin sister, Bella Melvold of Henning, brothers Edwin of Vining, John of San Luis Obispo, California, and Peter of Brainerd and several nieces and nephews.
