_DCAUSE: Nephritis and mitral regurgitation Julia attended the Kingwood Methodist Episcopal Church and is listed on their attendance roster in 1855. (PC Methodist records) Later in her life, she lived with her brother, "Wash," and sister, Rebecca, at the corner of Court and Tunnelton Streets in Kingwood. She was earning a living in 1900 washing clothes. She was buried on 2/21/1926 in the Maplewood Cemetery in Kingwood. She was employed as a domestic servant at the home of William F. Potter in 1860. The Potters lived adjacent to her parent's home in Kingwood. Julia was listed as living at the home of her brother, Martin, in Arrow Rock, Saline County, Jefferson Township, Missouri in 1870. Her father, George, and brother George Washington, were also there at that time. (1870 US Census) Julia's will (Book 8, page 52) gives her trunk and contents, clock, bed and bedding, and any money to Mrs. Guy A. Smith, where she made her home in her last years.
