Joyce Imogene French, 82, passed into the loving arms of Jesus on October 15, 2015. She was born on July 14, 1933 in Wetumka, OK to Oscar Sam and Ittie Cemantha (Elms) Hogue.
Joyce loved her family, and enjoyed reading. Church was an important part of her life, and she always looked forward to after church lunches with her friends.
Joyce was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Billy C. French; son, Kenneth Flatt; siblings, Harold, Lawrence, Wayne and Frank Hogue, Alene Andrews, Lorene Hoosier, and Wanda Wilson. Survivors include her daughter in law, Malou Flatt; grandsons, Kristopher and Karl Flatt; sister in law, Myrna and Mary Hogue; and a host of nieces and nephews who loved her dearly.
A funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Monday, October 19, 2015 at the Del City Church of Christ. Interment will follow at Sunny Lane Cemetery.
