[Note: the death date here is probably incorrect. This source uses the death date 16 Mar 1718 for two different Josiah Emery's. Since the age at death found on the death record of that date corresponds to 1680, it appears to belong to Josiah Emery, the uncle of this Josiah, who was born in that year. There is no other death record, or marriage that could be this Josiah, and he probably died young. Just to confuse matters, there is also a birth record for Josiah, son of this Josiah's brother John, on exactly 16 Mar 1718!]
