Case 18553 "Joshua Reed 1787".
3 Nov 1786: Subscribers request "Jonathan Reed our yongest Brother as Administrator to the Estate of our Late farther [sic] Joshua Reed Deceased late of Woburn". Signed Josua Reed of hull[?], James Reed, John Jarman[?], Hannah Phillips. Postscript: "Mary Reed Widow to the above said Joshua Reed Request the same". Signed Mary Reed. 5 Apr 1787: Bond of Jonathan Reed yeoman of Woburn as "adm'or of the Estate of Joshua Reed late of Woburn aforesaid gentleman deceased intestate". 6 Dec 1786: Warrant to take inventory. Taken same day. Sworn to by Jonathan Reed the administrator 5 Apr 1787. 5 Apr 1787: Estate insolvent, commission to examine claims of creditors. 9 May 1788: Debts more than balance, ordered to pay creditors pro-rated claims. [It was difficult to decipher "John Jarman". This may be John Farmer who married a Lucy Reed. But that is not clear, since according to the marriage record, Lucy Reed is of Cambridge, not Burlington or Woburn.]
