Dear Jim,

I am not sure what type of info you would like, but any info I have I am willing to share. I am descended from John and Anna through the following:

John and Anna's son Joshua married Sarah (Sally) Moody in Virginia. They had a son named Willis who was born in either Kentucky or Ohio. (Most sources point to Monroe County, Kentucky.) Willis married Isabel Bushong McMurtry in Monroe County, Kentucky. They had a son named John Newton Davis, who married a Nancy Jane Holbert in Missouri. They had a son named Felix Henry Davis who married Myrtle Shields. They're son, William Curtis Davis, is my grandfather. My father Jack LeRoy Davis, Sr. is then a direct descendent of the oringinal John Davis I am seeking information about. I have dates and more places about all of the above people, but I thought I would start with the short version, until we know if the John in question is the same in both our lines. Recently, I have received information that John Davis may have been born in a parish in Virginia. I am still working on documenting things either way. Do you have any information on John and his children?? Anything would be helpful.
