He married, 2d, in Lyme, 15 March 1732, Sarah Griffin, daughter of Jasper and Ruth (Peck) Griffin, of North Lyme, born 13 April 1702. Joshua Champion was a farmer and was also part owner of a saw-mill at Four Mile River (South Lyme)."
