White, Joseph, Middletown. Invt. £886-03-01. Taken 8 April, 1725, by William Savage, Hugh White and Samuel Stow. Will dated 26 February, 1724-5.
I, Joseph White of Middletown, doe make this my last will and testament: I give to my wife Mary White the use and improvement of my homested and lands, excepting 50 acres; also, cattle, sheep and swine until my son Ebenezer come of age, and then the 1-2 during her widowhood. My son Ebenezer, when he comes of age, shall have the other half during his mother’s widowhood, and after her decease or marriage the other half to be to him and to his heirs forever. I give to my four daughters £100 apiece with what they have already had. I give to the Rev. Mr. Joseph Smith, oure pastore, 30 shillings.
