    "10. Ensign Daniel White, son of Capt. Nathaniel, (3) was born at Middletown, Upper Houses, Feb. 23, 1661. (So the town record: the grave-stone says, Feb. 27.) He lived in his native place, and was chosen a townsman, or selectman, of Middletown in 1690, and a constable in 1701. He died Dec. 18, 1739, æ. 78."
