    Note: Barton: "JOSEPH THROCKMORTON [FGS, p. 81; CWT, pp. 217, 221; JES, p. 92] was privately baptized 26 Aug. 1746 in Christ Church, Shrewsbury. In his 15 Sep. 1933 letter to P. H. Waddell Smith, CWT wrote that Joseph Throckmorton probably went to Virginia. Joseph was mentioned in Sarah (Throckmorton) Nichols’ 1755 will, but was not mentioned in his brother Thomas’ 1763 will. Thus Joseph probably died between 1755 and 1763. J. Russell Throckmorton of Cuchara Rural Station, LaVeta, CO 81055, was a descendant of Joseph.202 "
