"Mr. Joseph Steffy died at his residence in the county on Saturday, 14th, inst., in the 81st year of his age. He was a native of Virginia, but had lived here for the last 35 years. Mr. S was a Captain in the war of 1812, and fought gallantly for his country. He was a most exemplary man in all the relations of life."
