Joe attended Okmulgee Jr. College and the University of Oklahoma. He also attended Harvard Business School. He was a member of Elks Lodge, anelder in the First Presbyterian Church, and a S.S. teacher. He was an international Auditor, Glass Bottles Blowers Assoc.

A Twin. Note on the weight of the twins Joe & Dave, in 1908 they were born threemonths premature. Dave weighed one lb. and Joe 1 1/4 lb. Two shoe boxeswere padded for cribs. Uncle Joe's thumb nail could completely cover anyone of their hands. Dave says ' I died three times', but all testifiesto skill of doctor father - an (Obstetrician Specialist) as well asgeneral practitioner - who in early days was without benefit of any kind.
