Joseph Ingram was baptised on 4th June 1730 at Great Gonerby in Lincolnshire, son of Ann Ingram, formerly Gee, and her husband Joseph Ingram, a miller. It would appear that Joseph's mother died either giving birth to him or shortly afterwards as she was buried on the same day he was baptised. Young Joseph has yet to be traced after his baptism.
