We Henry Walker and Alexander Handley Justices of the Peace in the County aforesaid in the State of Virginia do hereby certify that Ann Givens the widow of Joseph Givens dec'd party to a certain Deed bearing the date in the year of Christ 1816 the 24th day of August (and hereunto annexed) personally appeared before us in our County aforesaid and having the Deed aforesaid fully explained to her she the said Ann Givens acknowledged the Same to be her act and Deed and declared that she had willingly Signed, Seal'd and delivered the Same and desired us to certify the said acknowledgement to the Clerk of the County Court of Botetourt in order that the said Deed may be more fully recorded. Given under our hands and seals this 29th day of June 1833.
